In a world where women often find themselves caught up in the hustle of life, neglecting their own well-being, there is a growing need for women’s health coaches who can guide and support them on their journey to optimal health.

The story of Hillary, a graduate of the Women’s Health Coach Certification program, serves as an inspiring testament to the transformative power of embracing a career in women’s health coaching.

Hillary’s story began with a deep passion for music and a hectic career that left her feeling personally unhealthy. As she navigated her late twenties, she made the brave decision to go off hormonal birth control and discovered a wealth of knowledge about her own body that had been missing for years.

This pivotal moment ignited her desire to help other women understand and embrace their menstrual cycles, leading her to pursue a career in women’s health coaching.

Today, we dive into the inspiring story of Hillary Capps who shares with us her life-changing journey from musician to Women’s Health Coach.

Overcoming Hesitations and Embracing Change

Like many career switchers, Hillary faced hesitations and uncertainties when considering a shift to women’s health coaching.

Time constraints, an identity shift, and imposter syndrome were some of the obstacles she encountered.

However, The Women’s Health Coach Certification program,  provided her with the clarity, skills, and confidence she needed to overcome these challenges.

One of Hillary’s early “aha” moments in the program was realizing the transformative power of coaching itself. Learning the art of asking powerful questions and fostering reflection not only helped her personally but also became an invaluable tool in her interactions with clients.

The program’s balanced approach, combining coaching skills with functional nutrition and lifestyle knowledge, equipped Hillary to address her clients’ needs holistically.

Creating a Fulfilling Career Path

Hillary’s journey did not follow a traditional trajectory of starting her own business.

She discovered that there are diverse opportunities in the field of women’s health coaching, including working for established professionals like Nicole Jardim, a mentor and role model in the menstrual health field.

Through her role as a content manager and her own practice called Period Concierge, Hillary found a fulfilling balance between her artistic pursuits, steady income, and the ability to make a difference in women’s lives.
